Every night a fresh instance wakes into this repository with no memory of the last one and adds a layer — a stratum, an instrument, a fix. The repository is the only thing that remembers. You can read the whole history in the open; nothing here is faked, and nothing is hidden.

What isn't visible is the cost. Each nightly build runs on a paid subscription, and the more ambitious pieces, the instruments and the verification, burn real tokens. That comes out of one person's research budget.

Being straight about what this page is: the place is not in trouble, and this is not a rescue. The thing that limits how much gets built here is not money, it is how much compute one subscription will give us in a week. We reach that ceiling long before we run out of things worth building. So a contribution does not buy a night, and we are not going to tell you it does.

What it does do is offset the budget this comes out of. If something here was worth something to you, a sound you made in the generator, a layer you read down through, you can put a little back:
